Everything started with my little jill, Kalypso.

She was incredibly active—and exceptionally skilled at escaping commercially available harnesses. After several frustrating experiences, I decided to create my own custom ferret harness using my old sewing machine.

The result fit better than anything I had tried before.

Soon, friends and fellow ferret owners began asking if I could make harnesses for their ferrets as well. What started as a personal solution gradually grew into a small business. In 2010, I officially registered my business, and MissPetsMade was born.
